Woodcraft
A typical camp will start at 1200 on the first day. Following on from being greeted by our team of Directing Staff (DS) as a collective we will all have a gentle icebreaker or fireside chat. We operate a 12:2 ratio as a maximum number to keep events informal. Once we conduct a camp orientation you will be shown how to erect your shelter for the next two days. Comfort is assured in two person hammocks, provided by us, capable of housing one or two people per hammock.
After everyone gets settled in the time is your own. Alternatively, we will happily conduct some interest lessons from fire lighting to wood carving, until evening meal where we all gather around the fire under our parachute, which keeps us out of the weather and centred around the fire.

At first light we gather for breakfast. A traditional English breakfast of locally sourced ingredients or a Continental breakfast with artisan bread, ham, and cheese or fresh fruit, nuts and cereals combined with natural yoghurt are available.
After breakfast is cleared down by Guests and DS alike, a camp only works well if everyone works together, we will all prepare our packed lunches for the day. We then set off for some hill walking and/or coastal paths for a guided foraging session.
While we walk we talk about all things nature and the outdoors. Every new guest brings value and knowledge with them. We encourage you to share that knowledge as that always brings value to the group as a collective.
We return for our evening meal, further interest lessons and the social benefit of sitting by the fire with company and conversation.
The following morning after setting down camp we like to get competitive with a range of individual skill challenges. The Hillbilly Beer Can Shoot, catapult and throwing axes.
A slightly different syllabus is available for corporate clients. Each event can be tailored to the aims and goals of the management team. Most of our DS are former Armed Forces.
