Breakfast on the 10th day was simple fried eggs from our hens on toast. Then being Mother’s Day and that everyone but me seems to have been ill the last week I spend the day dropping off cards, flowers and jars of wild garlic pesto.
Dinner was venison sausages with a vegetable gratin. Gratin kindly produced by the wife and used up the last of my local cream. Topped with breadcrumbs left over from all our baking loaves.
